Manchester United player Jesse Lingard agrees loan deal with West Ham till end of season

  Out of favour Manchester United midefielder, Jesse Lingard has agreed a loan move to West Ham. Negotiations between Manchester United and West Ham nearly hit the rocks on Thursday , January 28 with United asking for a £1.5million loan fee plus Lingard's £80,000-a-week wages for the rest of the season according to the Daily Mail UK. As West Ham baulked over the fee, United took the step of informing other clubs that Lingard was still available but West Ham manager David Moyes has now agreed to pay the fee and the attacking midfielder will join the club on loan till the end of the season.   Lingard has struggled for game time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season but Moyes, who knows the 24-cap England midfielder from his time at Old Trafford, believes he can rejuvenate his form.

Ex-Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand excited to visit Nigeria again

Ex-Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is excited to be in Lagos again ahead of his visit on Thursday, January 30, 2020.  Ferdinand is visiting Lagos for a series of events by a beer brand which he represents.  In a  Twitter  post, the 41-year-old expressed how excited he was with his next visit which was in December 2018 and how much he enjoyed it.  “ The last time I came to Lagos, it was such a vibrant city man ,” the former defender said.  “ Lagos, there is so much going on, there is so much going on, there are so many people and most importantly everyone loves football .”  Ferdinand is visiting Lagos for the Pan-African Finale of the Guinness Night Football campaign on Friday, January 31 which will also have celebrity artistes like  Davido ,  Sauti Sol  of Kenya,  Bebe Cool  of Uganda,  Salatiel  of Cameroun. BREAKING NEWS! Man United Agree Deal With Sporting Lisbon For Fernandes

Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon. United will pay an initial fee of around 55m euros (£47m) for the 25-year-old, though add-ons could increase the overall cost to 80m euros (£67.6m). Fernandes’ move is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms. The two clubs have been negotiating throughout the transfer window with a breakthrough made on Tuesday amid reports of interest from Barcelona. United, linked with the 25-year-old last summer, initially refused to meet Sporting’s demand for 80m euros up front. For the Portuguese club to receive the full amount, a series of conditions must be met – including United’s qualification for the Champions League. United would pay an additional 5m euros (£4.2m) if they achieve Champions League qualification, with a further 5m euros subject to player participation.
