Former Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez has sustained an injury while playing in a prison football match and he could be out of action for a month.
The Argentine striker sustained the injury while he was visiting his half-brother Juan Alberto Martinez at Bouwer’s maximum security prison in Cordoba according to Mirror.
Carlos Tevez's brother is said to be currently serving a 16-year sentence for his part in an armed robbery.
In January this year, Carlos Tevez returned to his boyhood club Boca Juniors after an unsuccessful spell with Shanghai Shenhua where he earned a reported £650,000 per week.
Boca Juniors' chiefs are now said to be seriously furious when Carlos Tevez explained his latest injury, and the club could punish him for taking part in prison football match.
Before his return to his boyhood club this year, Carlos Tevez has previously had two stints at Boca Juniors between 2001-04 and 2015-16.
During his first stint at Boca between 2001 and 2004, Tevez helped the club win the Libertadores Cup and Intercontinental Cup.

He then went to Brazilian side Corinthians before moving to the Premier League, first with West Ham and then won the title with both of the Manchester sides.
A spell at Juventus came before his first return to Boca. He then made the move to China in January 2017, but failed to settle in China.
