As the battle for #EndSARS rages on across the states in the country, protesters, on Thursday, in Ekiti, attacked the convoy of the state governor, Mr Kayode Fayemi.
NewsBreakNG Correspondent in Ekiti reports that the Governor was booed at the State House of Assembly Complex when he came out to address the protesters and requested to meet their leadership for a peaceful dialogue.
They were seen displaying placards carrying different messages and singing solidarity songs as some of them said the governor was planning to bribe their leadership to discontinue the demonstration.
In a footage shared on Whatsapp, about 10 cars in the convoy of governor hurriedly left the scene to avoid being badly attacked by the protesting youths.

Recall that the potests began last week in different parts of Nigeria over continued harassment of young people by the notorious Special Anti-Robbery Squad – SARS. The protesters are demanding the disbandment of the unit.

Members of the squad have been accused of crimes such as extrajudicial killings, kidnapping, extortion and intimidation.
