In the heat of many artist coming out today in the entertainment industry it only takes a talent with the courage to stamp it on ground with good music and so has it been for Anthony Ayodele Davies born 7th March 1985, better known by his stage name DC (Don Capone) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. His new single ‘Mario’ is set to be released throughout Nigeria and UK in 2018.
Born into a family of five siblings in Ibadan Nigeria, DC relocated to London at a young age. DC started to record music in 2012. He cited that during his upbringing he often listened to music like Obey, Sir shina Peter, Jim Reeves. It was from here, that DC passion for music developed and he became inspired by recording artist Nas, Jay Z, lil Wayne, Olamide, Dagrin, Wizid, Davido and 2face. To date, DC plans to release his first music video by the end of 2018.The most interesting thing about this artist DC is the fact that his dreams go beyond just being an artist as he plans to develope his music group called DMG in order to carry out his charity work to help people in various communities across Africa & Europe to bring forth their potentials.
When asked what can we expect in the near future, DC spoke of his aspiration to help others and the community. DC objective is to produce good music, carry out charity work both in Nigeria and the UK and will eventually venture into music production.
