Barcelona Boss Valverde Reveals Why They Dropped Points Against Getafe

Barcelona manager, Ernesto Valverde has guaranteed that their chaotic calendar has made up for lost time with them, after they were held to a goalless draw by Getafe at home on Sunday.

The Catalans neglected to enroll a shot on focus amid the primary half and saw Luis Suarez's objective effectively precluded for offside.

Suarez was then denied late on by Getafe goalkeeper, Vicente Guaita, as Valverde's men passed up a great opportunity for the opportunity to re-set up a nine-point pad at the best.

It was Barcelona's twelfth diversion in 39 days since the winter break.

"We were deficient with regards to some freshness and beat, particularly in the principal half.

"Getafe are a group who prevent you from playing so you don't draw near to their case. As the amusement went on we assaulted to an ever increasing extent and in spite of our earnest attempts it wasn't to be. They guarded their container well and we did not have a touch of start.

"We have had a bustling month and have quite recently achieved a last.

"We can't win each amusement we play or be 100 for each penny constantly and this is the reason the coming week without a diversion comes at an incredible time for us to recoup," Valverde told fcbarcelona.com
