Monday morning turned tragedy as a purported Civil Defence officer was driving from Ado Ekiti towards Iworoko killed a passerby woman.
The driving went soar on getting to the sloppy road around the abattoir site adjacent Progress FM Ado Ekiti, a woman was crossing the highway when the saloon car hit her an cut her legs into 2.
The woman gave up the ghost after the saloon car drag her to the other side of the road.
Eye witness attributed the unfortunate accident to the over speeding by the officer.
The corpse has been deposited into the mortuary while the injured driver has been taken to an unknown hospital.
Security personels including the road safety corps and the police were on ground to help out the situation.
