Federal University Oye Ekiti is a government-owned and -operated Nigerian university. The university is in the ancient city of Oye-Ekiti and Ikole-Ekiti making it two campuses, The university was founded in the year 2011
Today 10th of September, 2019 has been recorded as a blood shed day as the FUOYE student peacefully protest against the PHCN [NEPA] for not bringing light.
Unfortunately, the Nigerian Police Force, Oye turns out to disrupt the protest by killing a student [protester].
According to the reports gathered by KikGist media it was recorded that the students [protesters] decided to revenge by burning down the Police station.
In the course of the action, it was reported that three [3] policemen were down and another four[4] students were also down.
Approximately, it was recorded that three [3] policemen were down and four [4] students has been killed 4 – 0.
In due, the community look forward to the government in setting the dispute and put end to the crisis.
As recorded, there is still lots of panic currently in Fuoye, Ekiti state as students has no rest of mind due to the crisis.
