AN OPEN LETTER TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA TO PUT AN END TO THE ON-GOING NATIONWIDE ASUU STRIKE.

His Excellency
Muhammadu Buhari GCFR
President and the Commander-In-Chief Of the Arm Forces
State House
FCT Abuja.

Your Excellency,

The African Union Students‟ Council (AUSC) “For The Better Africa We Deserve” was Founded with the Mission to have the African students Voice be fully included in the African Union Leadership and Development Decision Makings, and make together a better Africa we deserve.

We write to draw Your attention to the ongoing strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), which could lead to disruptions in the country's education sector.
Our concern is that the quality of education will be diminished the longer the strike goes on because material will have to be condensed to make up the semester.
The student Union are not taking sides in the strike but want both parties to reach a resolution,

We're not writing  to criticize or judge or to overstep in anyway, we are representing our students and we want what is the best for them in the long run.

We plead with you as a true Nigeria citizen to see to ASUU’s demand and allow the students go back to school.

AUSC is looking forward to hear a
fruitful deliberation from the federal government and ASUU.
God bless Nigeria.

Sincerely,
 Hon Muhammad Ahmad Janyau
 AUSC NATIONAL REPRESENTATIVE
