Why Presidential Candidates Must Go For Debate – Ben Bruce

Senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murray-Bruce has called for a Presidential debate among candidates ahead of the 2019 elections.

Bruce made the call in a post on his Twitter page on Thursday.

The Bayelsa lawmaker urged Nigerians to insist on presidential debate in order to vote the candidate of their choice.

He urged Nigerians not to vote for any presidential candidate that dodged the debate.

Bruce wrote: “I urge Nigerians to insist on a Presidential debate. Refuse to vote for any candidate who dodges the debate.

“If you want to hire a worker, you must interview him. How can any candidate expect us to vote for him or her as President if they refuse to be interviewed by Nigerians?”
